About Us

A trading house built on supply chain discipline

BASE Mining, Minerals and Petroleum was founded on a simple premise: industrial buyers don't need another mine, they need a supplier they can trust to deliver the right material, on time, to specification.

We do not own or operate mines, quarries, or processing plants. Instead, BASE builds direct, audited relationships with established producers — Turkish quarry operators for marble, aggregate and cement; Russian mineral belts for coke, coal and industrial metals — and manages every step between origin and destination.

That model keeps us close to the material without carrying extraction risk, and it keeps our buyers close to the source without managing dozens of individual supplier relationships. Our teams handle quality verification, documentation, export compliance and logistics coordination as a single, accountable service.

Mission

To give industrial buyers a single, reliable point of access to Turkish and Russian mineral and petroleum supply — backed by consistent quality control, transparent documentation and dependable logistics. We measure that mission in terms a buyer actually cares about — shipments that arrive on the date agreed, with paperwork that matches what's in the container.

Vision

To be the trading partner buyers default to when they need certainty in mineral and petroleum sourcing — recognised for reliability rather than reach. Reach is easy to claim and hard to verify; reliability shows up in a buyer's own delivery records, which is the only scorecard that matters to us.

Our Values

The five commitments below shape how we choose suppliers, price shipments and handle the moment something goes wrong. They are easiest to state and hardest to hold to once a contract is signed — which is exactly when they matter.

Reliability

We commit to volumes and schedules we can actually deliver, not figures that sound good in a first meeting. Buyers plan against our numbers, so our numbers have to hold. It's a discipline we apply the same way whether an order is small or the largest on our books.

Transparency

Specifications, certificates and pricing are documented and shared plainly, before a contract is signed and after. There are no terms buyers only discover once material is already in transit. If a number changes, buyers hear it from us directly, not from a shipment that simply arrives different than expected.

Compliance

Every shipment meets export, safety and quality regulations by default, not as a special request. Compliance is checked before material leaves origin, not after it arrives. That default exists because reworking a non-compliant shipment costs far more than doing it right the first time.

Partnership

We treat suppliers and buyers as long-term partners, not one-off transactions. Most of our supplier relationships run for years, which is what makes consistent quality possible in the first place. A supplier who only hears from us when placing an order isn't a partner — they're a transaction, and we try to build fewer of those.

Accountability

One counterparty, responsible for the material from origin to delivery. If something goes wrong anywhere in that chain, buyers call us — not a dozen different suppliers. That's a deliberate trade-off: it would be easier to spread responsibility across multiple suppliers, but harder for buyers to actually rely on.

The BASE Company

A trading company by design, not by default

BASE Mining, Minerals and Petroleum is deliberately structured as a sourcing and export business. We hold no mining concessions and operate no quarries — every material we sell is produced by an audited third-party partner under a direct supply agreement with BASE.

That structure removes the operational and capital risk of extraction from the equation, and lets us focus entirely on the part of the supply chain buyers actually depend on us for: consistent specification, complete documentation, and delivery they can plan around.

It also means BASE can move quickly. Because we are not tied to a single deposit or asset, our sourcing network can adapt — adding new producers, adjusting volumes, or expanding into new materials — as buyer demand shifts, without the multi-year timelines of opening or expanding a mine.

In practice, that means a buyer working with BASE on marble from Türkiye can, within the same relationship, source coke or industrial metals from Russia — under the same documentation standard, coordinated by the same team, without opening a second supplier relationship from scratch.

It's also why BASE can absorb a supplier problem without it becoming a buyer's problem. If a partner falls short of specification or falls behind schedule, we have the flexibility to bring in an audited alternative from the same network rather than asking a buyer to wait on a single point of failure to recover.

Our Policies

Formal commitments, applied to every shipment

BASE operates under four written policies that govern how we select suppliers, manage material, and run our business. They apply equally across every origin country, product line and buyer relationship — a supplier in the Urals is held to the same standard as a quarry in western Türkiye. These are not marketing statements; they are the criteria our own team is audited against internally.
